Things changed
Dreams broke

I cried….I yelled….but you didn’t care
Dismayed….Shattered….I still prayed
Hoping you will come back…BUT you didn’t
Time healed my pain but Love for you just flourished
Randomly once we met
Silence….Awkwardness….I could see
I just smiled
Pleasantries exchanged…I bid goodbye
You held my hand….I just smiled
Sorry….that’s all you said….I smiled
Love is unconditional….that’s all I said & walked away alone
