Tia could still hear these voices. Voices of her friends, her well wishers. After a year and a half of going back & forth……her love story had finally ended and it was still difficult for her to let go.

22 year-old Tia had fallen in love with a 35 year old chef. A media professional, Tia had met him through work and like it happens in movies, she was instantly attracted to him. He wasn’t “tall, dark and handsome’ yet she couldn’t stop staring at him when they first met. Some things in life don’t have any answer.

After few phone calls and couple of cozy meetings, she was completely smitten by him and before she could realize they were dating. Life was simply beautiful for Tia. This is all that she ever wanted. She loved everything about him. His eyes, his smile, the way he spoke, the way he treated her. She was enjoying every bit of it. He was the perfect one for her. Love is not only blind but also dumb.

Drinks at Geofreys, taxi drive back home, silent glances in a crowd, holding hands, random dance, passionate kisses, wild crazy blissful nights, house party, ,goodnight smses, stupid silly fights, insecurities, jealousy…..a perfect amalgam of all emotions for a perfect love story ….Its fun to be in love sometimes.

And as it happens, with most love stories. Hurdles, Villain, Problems. With time, Tia realized that he didn’t love her or maybe he did. Ya ya she was confused or maybe he was just commitment-phobic (she preferred to believe the latter one for her own sanity). Whenever they fought, Tia would always take the initiative to apologies or make up without any fault of hers. Yea sometimes even he called her when he was in a nice mood to make up. Love makes you lose not only yourself but also your self-esteem.

I am telling you this man is taking you for a ride. He is simply fooling you. Leave him. It will be difficult initially but then you will be fine. Believe me. Advise & more advise from Tia’s friends. She knew they were right. They were all right and she was with thewrong man…When you are in love even the most wrong man seems to be Mr. Perfect

That night, Tia didn’t sleep. She started writing. Writing about everything she felt, had experienced, about her cranky child(that’s what she called her chef), her friends' advise, her love for him, the happy times, fights, love-making, his flirtatious nature, romance, things she liked and disliked in him…just everything. Once she had penned everything shefelt, she read it and cried her heart out. Crying definitely helps sometimes.

She finally accepted that she had to let go. She couldn’t continue living with self-pity and let go of the most pleasant years of her life by crying for someone who simply didn’t care. Yes she still loved him but she knew with time, she’ll be fine. Yes, she knew she had to face her friends who will again repeat I TOLD YOU SO…but Boyfriends keep changing, friends don't. True friends will always stand by you...Did she regret her relation with him…hmmm…??!!!!!#%....OFCOURSE NO…she had the most beautiful time of her life with him. He was the man she still loved and his thought still made her smile and she knew it was all worth it…Yea that happens when you are hopelessly in love :-)

It's not easy to imagine life without you, I don't know how am going to go on. I am glad you came my way .I know I missed out on nothing and have no regrets about anything though friends kept warning and advising to keep away but I didn't listen. If I don't delete you from my life now, I will keep hurting myself. I am going to miss you, I am going to miss all those beautiful peaceful exciting moments but loving you is more painful than missing these moments. I still love you and atleast for now I know I will wait for you to feel the same for me till then I take your leave. And maybe you will never love me & I will have to live with that fact.
